Have You Helped An Author Succeed After Reading a Book?

Time to Run: The Biters (Book 1)

Do you often buy books on Amazon whether it's a Kindle, paperback or hardback book? Do you have Kindle Unlimited and regularly read lots of books using this service?

Do you read it and then just pass it on to a friend without leaving a review on Amazon or Goodreads? Why not write a short review on it letting others know how good it was!

If you want to help Authors succeed then read on...

Have you ever read a book and thought what a fantastic story? So, you thought the writing, the story and the characters were great and you loved the book immensely... well, why not tell the author that by writing a few short sentences on Amazon and Goodreads to state that fact. If you loved a book you have read, then you can tell everyone what you thought by leaving a comment on Amazon. It's very easy to do and anyone can do it!

It takes minutes to write something on Amazon about the book you have bought and read recently. Just a few short sentences will do for any book on Amazon. Stating what you thought of an Author's work is always a great help for the writer. It helps them enormously. It gives their book status and moves it up in Amazon ranking.

Readers choose books based on recommendations. Leaving an Amazon review is like telling your friends how much you enjoyed your latest book. After 20-25 reviews, Amazon includes the author's book in "also bought" and "you might like" lists. This increases its visibility on the site and helps boost sales. After 50-70 reviews, Amazon highlights the book for spotlight positions and its newsletter. A HUGE boost for an Author!

Time to Run: The Biters (Book 1)
If you loved a certain book and thought it was very helpful or you simply loved the story, then tell them by writing a short review on Amazon or/and Goodreads. Writing a review will help that book to get noticed. It will give that book the attention it needs to succeed. You would be giving that author your help. Everyone does it. Sometimes, they just click on the stars to rate the book and just write two or three words like 'great book' or 'interesting story' or even to say 'I loved it'.

So, have you read a ton of books that you bought from Amazon but you didn't leave a review for? Would you like to tell the author what you thought? Do you regularly read books using Kindle Unlimited? If your answer is 'yes' then help that author and write your review today. It doesn't take long to write one. A few minutes of your time to write it helps an author succeed and it helps that book get the credit that it deserves. Never hesitate in leaving a review after reading a book!

  1. Not always, but maybe I should. I have reviewed books in the past when I was Ivan S. Graves, and have done author interviews as well, although these days not as often. But I DO find I try to help push certain authors I like (the lesser known ones) whenever I can and in various ways. They need all the boost they can get.
