Author's Notes

The Island of Love starring Kit Harington and Chloe Moretz is out on sale on Amazon worldwide. The characters, setting and the story are my own creation.

I wrote this book years ago, when I lived in Cyprus. My father was a Greek Cypriot that came from a small village called Strovolos which is situated in the capital Nicosia. For many years, before I lived there, I used to visit Cyprus on holiday and still do go there a few times a year. I have been to all of the cities in Cyprus and that's why I wanted to use this country as my setting for this book; not only for that reason, but also to give the atmosphere of a Cypriot love affair that can go wrong. The character, Phillipa, goes to Paphos where I frequently visit, so I know this place very well.

I have now decided to change the book by adding another plot throughout the romance. This is the first time that I am doing this here on Wattpad, so if you read this new version of The Island of Love, then you are getting a first look at it.

The Story

The Island of Love is a mystery romance set in Cyprus.  It's an emotionally heartfelt love story between an English woman named Phillipa (Chloe Moretz) and a Greek Cypriot guy named Demetri (Kit Harington) with a thrilling mystery through it.

Phillipa runs away to Paphos to get away from her ex-boyfriend, Jake. He has recently dumped her for another woman. Once there, Phillipa meets a handsome Greek Cypriot called Demetri who will not leave her alone. She thought she was getting away from the strains of a broken relationship only to be thwarted into another complicated and heated love affair. To make matters more confusing for her, she finds out he is already dating Hellena. Things go wrong when a murder is committed and Phillipa finds herself in danger, but Demetri becomes more desperate and wants Phillipa all to himself. Will she continue to stay in Cyprus? Or will she run away again?
